The American Civil War: We had at least two ancestors who fought in the Civil War, George Robert Clarkson and Carl "Car" Smith. Both served in the Confederate Armies, and appear to have fought in several battles each.
History of the 42 Mississippi Regiment
The Revolutionary War: At least three individuals served in the War for Independance. William Bledsoe, William Watters and his son Joseph James Watters all were enlisted. They appear to have served in the Culpeper County theater. They were each given land for their serve, and moved their families to GA to settle their new lands.

The Morman Immigrants: Starting in the 1840's, the Kinghorns, Campbell's, Ashworth's began their journey from Scotland and England to the American desert city of Salt Lake City

Ellis Island: All of our Italian immigrants came to America through the port of New York and the immigrantion center at Ellis Island. Jenny Carbonifero landed at Ellis Island on the same day as the Titantic survivors were being returned to New York. Colonial Activities:

Zulu Wars: John Fee, born in Ireland in about about, joined a Brittish regiment, and served in the Zulu Wars in 1879. He later emmigrated to the USA and settled in the Evanston area.
Whaling: Christen Klitgaard in the 1860-70's served aboard a whaling ship in the Atlantic.
Railroads: Alexander "Sandy" Kinghorn served as a engineer on the first trains serving southern Utah, and the name of Sandy, Utah is named after him. a.
The Ship Builders: The Larrson family had a long history of building and owning ships in the dangorus North Sea are
